Ways To Be Apart of The Global Revolution!

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO BE APART OF

THE GLOBAL REVOLUTION?

  • Shop Local, Organic, Free-Trade, Sustainable, Non-GMO Foods: This change doesn’t happen overnight. Slowly, switch over by buying things here and there from local markets, stores, and farmers. This change will benefit your overall health, environment, and increase a demand in this industry for the betterment of our economy. Research Monsanto and understand the seriousness of what they have done and what they hope to do. Evil bastards.
  • Stick to “Family-Owned” Businesses: Cut back  on purchases from places such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, etc. This one is definitely tough, but if we turn our backs on these companies, then they don’t have power over us. You will feel better paying for something someone made with love instead of a factory. We have to change our views on the products we purchase. We are fighting a battle against corporate greed, so the less money they take from us, the better off we will be!
  • Pick up Trash Around Your Neighborhood & Environment: Start carrying around bags and gloves with you in your car, on your bike, etc. Be more aware of your surroundings and start picking up the mess we are all responsible for. The cleaner the environment; the healthier we can be; the more likely more people around you will not litter. It is the smallest things that matter the most!
  • Educate Yourself: Make this a goal and a life requirement! Knowledge is power! “The first step to wisdom is realizing you don’t know anything!” Start reading books, magazines, articles, documentaries, and opening your mind to any information you become interested it. Don’t limit yourself, there is no such thing as knowing too much! Challenge yourself to break free from your “comfort zone”. For example, listen to a different style of music, go to a workshop, attend a yoga class, etc.
  • Share The Knowledge: This goes hand in hand with educating yourself. Challenge yourself to reach out to those close to you in your life. It is a great feeling to teach someone something foreign to them. Once you start learning; you will understand why it is important for us all and why we have to share information with one another. You will also sense a new feeling of freedom, wisdom, and possibility. Be sure to share any important news you discover via social media, because this revolution will not be televised!
  • Register to Vote! Get Involved In Politics: This one is tricky, because many people don’t want to get involved with anything that the government is doing. At least attempt to give politics a chance, because you will discover that politics is very critical to all of our lives. We the people want to be able to have a say on what is going on in our country. Let your voice be heard! Voting is huge! It is so important, because all around the world people are making it harder and harder for people to vote by participating in “voter suppression”.
  • Avoid Working For Corporate: If possible, choose a family-owned company. This is not going to be possible for every person reading this for many different reasons. At least do some research on the company that you are employed by and see what they are involved in, how they treat their affairs, other employees, spend their money, etc. You have the choice if you want to stay with them, or choose a company with the same morals as you. Choosing a local business helps promote small businesses and that’s exactly what we need, in order to conquer the corporate world. Remember, your happiness is essential to living a healthy life. Money can’t buy happiness.
  • Discover Your Faith: Do some thinking about the universe/GOD. Ask yourself questions about where you came from, why the world is the way it is, what can you do about it,etc. Start looking inside yourself and understanding that you are not the voice inside your head, your thoughts or emotions. You are something far greater. In my personal view, we are spiritual entities having a human experience. Make it a personal task to explore different walks of faith, belief systems, and unique perspectives.
  • Start Having Conversations With Strangers: Next time, you out at the grocery store, farmer’s market, hiking trail, at work, etc; be sure to spark up a conversation with someone. You never know what the conversation between you two may be. Potentially, you could learn something new, make a new friend or connection. Just be social and opportunities will start to pop up in your life!
  • Create Communities: Become more involved in community service, grass-root organizations, march in peaceful protests, attend city meetings and/or court hearings. Introduce yourself to your neighbors and try to help anyone you see struggling on the streets. We are all in this life together as one. We owe it to one another to lend a helping hand, share compassion and have open-mind to all people. Get involved in activism, rallies, marches, and speeches! We have to take action against the government, corporations, and big money!
  • Experience The Outdoors: Nature is known to help relieve stress, expend your consciousness, and help people appreciate the true beauty of the world. You owe it to yourself to take foot outside. The more time you spend outdoors, the more comfort you will feel. Nature is our home. I personally always feel more connected to the universe when I am observing nature. It is truly limitless when it comes to things you could do outside. Get creative, start thinking, and embrace this amazing planet!
  • Take Responsibility for Your Well-Being: You have to take care of yourself before you can help change the world. Here are a few tips I have that may guide you on your journey. Physically, you may want to get involved in exercise, group fitness classes, hiking, etc. Change your diet. Ditch modern medicine and research holistic alternative medicine such as Ayurveda. Emotionally & Mentally: You may want to go see a therapist if you have been struggling for years. Try writing out how you feel. Reading self-improvement books. Financially: Create a budget. Minimize spending. Quit buying unnecessary things. Make more thought-out purchases. Spiritually: Start reading about different religions, go out in nature, meditate, do yoga, practice mindfulness.

I am sure I could continue to list millions and millions of positive ways to get involved in this global revolution. It is apparent that the way of the world is shifting into a more positive direction, especially here in the United States. We have millions of people all around the world standing up to their governments for equality. People are waking up and realizing what really matters in life. This is quite the bittersweet generation to be alive in. Take complete advantage of it and decide to be apart of the change. You can develop your own ways to be apart of the global revolution. That is the wonderful thing about this revolution; we the people are reclaiming our freedom, our planet, and our lives.

This is just the beginning of our global revolution 😀

Here is a photo from Iceland. They have taken back their country, which has set a huge example for Americans.

Here’s a photo from last night’s rally in Washington Park. There was estimated over 50k people there for a Bernie Sander’s rally. I will be writing more about this in another blog.

Unemployed Feels

*Like the picture in the top of this canyon, life can be complex to look at when you don’t know what you are looking at or looking for. When you are wandering about in life with no idea what direction you want to go in. Your options can blend together, like the different colors of the minerals on the rock’s surface.*

20160315_142227

Well, I knew this day would surely come again, but not now. I didn’t anticipate to quit my job two days ago. I just didn’t expect this change and I am not sure what direction to go in next.  I am holding on to hope that this is what is meant to be and  really trust that this is what is suppose to be happening in this moment. I have a tendency to worry and overthink every thing that happens in my life. I have to sit around and analyze it for hours and I am just not wanting to do that this time around. I have my bills paid for this month. I am entitled to taking some days to recharge, brainstorm, and take it easy. I think I deserve that much, because I have been struggling emotionally, physically, and mentally. Just feeling very worn out about half the time.  I am also single, record breaking, going on 8 months now.  But, that doesn’t mean I haven’t tried dating. I can’t seem to find a guy who wants to stick around and actually create something real together. Dating is confusing and right now that is something I don’t need. A relationship is the least of my worries, because I can’t even be happy on my own some days, but when I get down it does sound nice to have that person to vent to again.

Anyway, I want to go on a quick rant about society and the workforce.

I have determined that I don’t really want to be apart of society’s corporate greed which means really trying to find a company who isn’t apart of the system. I really want to work somewhere local, authentic and for a company that shares the same moral values as me. I may make less money, but maybe that is what needs to happen right now. I am not sure if I want to continue in the food and beverage industry, like I need a break.

Society wants to make it out like a bad thing if you are not working, but sometimes people need a break, because not everybody handles stress the same. Not every body experiences the same hardships whether they are mental, physical, or emotional problems. I am fortunate to still be at home and not forced to get in debt with all the bills I don’t feel I need. I am completely okay living at home. I am guilty of allowing what other people may think about me really bother me. I assume people are going to judge me a certain way and it’s tough to ignore those thoughts at times.

Soon enough, I will certainly figure out what direction I need to take in order for me to be happy, make money, and accomplish my goals. For now, I am taking some time to clear my mind.

Humanity Rant

First of all, every single person needs to admit that they are under-educated and that their entire mindset has been flawed for the majority of their lives. How can you ever have an opinion, if it was molded for you?

Seriously, think for yourself, open your mind to insane ideas, and dig into everything that is going on in the world! How can people continue to sit around and be angry, bitter, and down right hateful towards a group ofpeople?! A lot of American’s think we are paying taxes for those who are on welfare or toward immigration, and yes some of our taxes are helping people! BIG FUCKING DEAL? WOW, why is that such a bad thing? Who cares if someone isn’t from here, good for them! Let them come here, the earth is free for all people. Borders, territories, countries, etc are all MAN MADE! The real problem here is that there are literally a handful of families dominating the entire world! They control the energy, the healthcare, the food, the education system, the big banks, the money supply, all the companies, and the media!

Basically, everything around us is a damn illusion put here by some greedy, evil bastards who only have selfish interests for profit. These people have trillions and trillions of dollars, their whole goal is to CONTROL EVERYTHING. But, hey let’s not worry about them, as long as we have our new electronics and taxes don’t get raised all is swell in our little world, oh yeah don’t allow those damn Mexicans to come take our jobs and steal our land, but WAIT A MINUTE. This country was STOLEN FROM THE PEOPLE WHO LIVED HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! But, why worry about them right? It’s not like they are around anymore, WRONG. Native Americans are still here fighting for their rights as well!

What about the FACTS! THE PLANET IS BEING DESTROYED! PEOPLE ARE STARVING! And America has fucking comedians running to lead this country and currently ahead in the election! WOW, I am outraged about many things right now and let me tell you, I could care less who comes into this country. We have a responsibility, we are in charge of our entire existence right now. The future is most definitely not promised, and we are worried about making money to be apart of a system put into place for literally A HANDFUL OF FAMILIES to thrive while everyone else slaves their lives away. Hell, if you don’t believe me, follow the money trail, do your research, and you will see the truth.

Below is a small clip from Thrive. A highly recommended documentary!

Today’s Positive Note

Be content in your state of mind, even if it feels uncomfortable. There are simply some things that can not be changed over night. Therefore, it is best to roll with the emotions and feelings, whatever they may be. Nothing that was ever worth it came easy.

Keep your focus on your goals. Aim for success. Don’t give up.

You know that things always get better, so don’t get down about whatever it is you are going through right this moment.

Life can be gold, sometimes you have to “dig” for it though.

Instant Inspiration

Sometimes, it is easier for me to give advice, then take it. It comes natural to give others advice, but not listen to my own words. During these times, people like myself may need to be reminded of our inspiration. Being positive doesn’t mean you remain positive all the time. Everyone falls down into the darkness sometimes. It is up to each and every one of us to pick each other up by exposing us to the light again.

Inviting Others Into Your “House”

I was sitting here drinking my usual cup of hazelnut coffee with the blinds open, allowing the sun to radiate through the window and onto my skin this morning. The warmth from the rays felt so relaxing and welcoming. I opened my computer and seen my reflection on the screen, observing how the sun was shining on my skin. What I realized is that this whole experience is extremely metaphoric.

Meeting someone new, is like the sun’s rays. Warm and inviting. You want to know more about them, you want to allow them in, to come inside your house, not just shine through your window. It can be very tough to decide whether or not you want to unlock your door. At times, you may choose to go outside and lock to door behind you. Which, is the safest and most secure way of doing things when meeting someone brand new. You wouldn’t just unlock the door to your house and allow anyone you don’t know inside, exposing them to all of your valuables and personal items.

Really, thinking about this deeper, I believe your body, soul, and mind is like a house. You will open the door at some point, whenever you feel is right, and allow a person into your life exposing them to the good and bad parts of your body, mind, and soul. It’s tough, sometimes we aren’t proud of our house, maybe there’s something that needs to be worked on such as the walls need to be painted. This could be compared to a struggle you are going with personally and therefore, you may not feel comfortable allowing a strangers to see your walls full of scratches, holes, and chipped paint. Please, understand that if you decide to cover up the walls with pictures, decorations, or even a fresh coat of paint, that whatever happened to the wall hasn’t been erased. It runs much deeper than that, you have to be willing to look at into your thoughts and figure out what it is that you need to do to make peace with it. This wall isn’t going anywhere and if you try to tear it down, the entire house goes with it. The wall is apart of you now and for as long as you live.

It can be difficult to allow a person into your life, even if they have good intentions, because if you are like me, we have all had our fair share of disappointments. What hurts the most is when you decide you are going to invite someone in, you expose them to your house and all the rooms (different parts of you) you let them explore and get comfortable, only for them to walk out of the door and leave everything behind them. You begin to relate this person to the feeling of coming home and next thing you know you realize that you only feel at home when they are with you. But, you have to remember that the only thing that has changed is them. You still have your house, your walls, your rooms, and your things. Your mind for instance is much like a room of your house. All the emotions, feelings, and thoughts make up a room to your house. Everything that has happened to you as been gathered together and made in your own perspective. You are the creator, you have designed your room to be exactly the way you want it to be. If you don’t like the way your room looks, you can simply change it. You have that power and that’s the beauty of this entire correlation. You may have one thought, which leads to many thoughts, but you may have to explore deeper in order to find the true meaning of why things are the way they are. If you take a look at your room, you will notice that everything in there defines you in some way. There is a reason everything lays where it is now. You may disagree, and argue that you didn’t put certain thoughts into your mind. This is true, but you also may not realize what you have done is taken a thought from someone else and sat down inside the room and forgot about. Now, you are stuck with it and have to figure out where it goes, and trust me you will find a place for it. Even if it means that you must throw it away, because at times you will realize that you have to clean up and get rid of thoughts that no longer serve their purpose to you. Embrace this, we all have trash to take out.

Another thought I have is that you need to build up the pieces of your house to be more stable and supportive, in order to prepare you for someone else’s company. It can be overwhelming when you allow someone to come into your space and if you aren’t ready for it, then you are more likely to push them out of the door, or remove them from your life. It takes some serious time to work on your house and you must be willing to put in that work. This is especially crucial if you have allowed someone into your house, and they didn’t respect you or appreciate you. One of the most painful things to go through, is allowing someone to walk in the door of you mind, relax in your thoughts, and explore your body and then, they walk out and never come back. Let me tell you something very important, because those people walked through the door, they have left footprints on your life. You get to decide what you want to do with the damage they left behind!

When someone leaves, you have to take time to clean up their mess, and declutter your mind. When you have allowed someone to live with you for quite some time, you may grow attached to them and soon it’s like they belong inside your house. They become apart of the beautiful structure you have spent your entire life working on and making your own. This in itself is a surreal thing to even think about, but such a blissful experience to endure. Think about it, allowing some else to be apart of something you have created is not something that should be taken lightly. That goes for both the person being invited in and the one allows them inside.

Maybe, you are a minimalist and don’t have much furniture or decorations and that is fine. That could mean that you find your meaning in the nothingness around you and even that in itself is beautiful. Maybe you are like me and have tons of pictures, quotes, sentimental items, etc laying around your house. Whatever it is, it is yours and holds value to you personally. Don’t take that for granted, embrace everything you own. Be thankful for every thought, emotion, and feeling that you have because it is what makes up your own mental house.

Taking a spin on this whole comparison, you have realize that you must be willing to leave your house and visit someone else’s. Meaning that, you have to be ready to explore someone’s mind, listen to their thoughts, feel their emotions, genuinely. You can’t stay home forever. You have to be open to changing your decorations, moving your furniture, and re-doing certain rooms in your house. Let me explain this deeper, when you meet someone, you are exposing yourself to their inner thoughts, feelings, energy, everything! If you think you are going to walk away from them, the same person you were when you met them, you are mistaken. Being exposed to other perspectives will alter you own, sometimes subconsciously, this isn’t a bad thing. Everyone you meet whether they benefit you or destroy you, serves a grand purpose in your life. Even the smallest of interactions could make or break you. For example, if you meet a homeless guy on the side of the road and he tells you a quote, you are more than likely going to remember him, especially if this quote is relevant to you. You may enjoy it so much, that you decide to display on it on a wall and read it everyday, in return you will prosper, grow, and become a better person all because of a small experience, that seemed meaningless at the time. You will be surprised how much something so small can mean.

In contrast, you may meet an unpleasant person, who may try to set your house on fire. Be cautious of who you are around, and also whose house you go into. Sometimes, you are going to discover that you don’t like what is inside, and that’s okay. At least you took the time to go inside, explore, and walk away knowing that you don’t feel safe and secure with that person. Your own mind can fool you, so it is wise to say that you have not known someone into they expose you to all their rooms and what is in them. This simply doesn’t happen overnight. You can visit someone’s house a million times, and not know anything about them, because you didn’t look deeper, or you weren’t allowed to. If you decide that the experience you were exposed to isn’t going to benefit you, then it really is quite simple. Here’s what you do, you take whatever you can from this person, metaphorically speaking, and document it for your own use. Take the contents of the experience and place it on the bookshelf in your mind. So, when you are wondering in your house, walk into a room, you will notice it laying right there. You have the option to revisit this memory, or allow it to collect dust. What is important is that remember it and take away wisdom from it. Don’t pretend like it never happened, because once someone walks into your house, you can’t get rid of the mark they made on your soul.  That doesn’t have to be a negative thing, you decide!

The people you meet will always be apart of you and you have the power to decide how you want to interpret that. We all hope to find one person whom we can explore each other’s house together. Remember not to abandon your house and make a home in theirs. You can’t possibly expect to get comfortable and leave behind everything you have worked on. Don’t lose yourself, by trying to find someone else! Bring both lives two together and continue to build something together. A relationship can be compared to a house as well, don’t remodel what you have already created, add-on to it. When you come together with someone, you are building a new room from scratch. You two decide what colors to paint the walls, what memories you want to create, and ultimately bring the entire thing to life. It takes too people in this, because the room is something YOU BOTH CREATED. So, if one person walks away, and leaves the other one behind, that person must leave too, allowing the room to remain in it’s current state. This applies to any type of relationship here, don’t think about this as strictly romantic occurrences. Bittersweet, isn’t it?

I think I could continue to expend to this idea all day long, and I very well may update this post later on, but right now I just want to get it out to the world.

Every experience is worth having, find it’s value to your life 😀
